Spotify’s new Hide songs option seems to be their way of converting new customers to subscribe to their premium account while keeping old customers happy. If you still don’t see the option, then it could be because it’s not available in your country at the moment.
Well, make sure you have the premium subscription of Spotify. Of course, you can always just go back and Unhide the hidden song in the future following the same steps so no harm no foul to the playlist.
